Every provider completes the same multi-step review before joining the network.
Providers begin by submitting a detailed application covering their professional background, service areas, deal experience, credentials, and the types of transactions they specialize in. This is the first filter — applications that don't demonstrate relevant M&A experience in the SMB or lower middle market don't advance.
Every applicant participates in a live video interview with the DueDilio team. We discuss their background, experience, credentials, and how they approach client work. This step exists because credentials on paper don't tell the full story — we want to understand how they think, how they communicate, and whether they meet the standard our clients expect.
We review samples of actual work product — past reports, deliverables, and engagement summaries. This tells us what clients actually receive when they hire this provider. The quality of the deliverable matters as much as the credentials behind it.
We speak directly with at least two past clients whenever possible — not references the provider selects, but clients who can speak to the quality of the engagement, responsiveness, and professionalism. This is where we learn how the provider actually performs when working on a real deal.
We perform a basic online background check to surface any red flags, negative reviews, or inconsistencies between what the provider claims and what's publicly available. This includes reviewing professional profiles, regulatory standing, and any relevant public records.
Providers who pass all six steps sign legal agreements and are onboarded into the DueDilio network with DueDilio Verified™ status. They can now receive and respond to projects that match their expertise. But approval isn't permanent — it must be maintained.
Getting into the network is only the beginning. Provider performance is monitored over time through client feedback, responsiveness, professionalism, and quality of work. Providers who materially fail to meet DueDilio’s standards may be removed from the network.
Every profile shows credentials, experience, specialization, deal history, and transparent fee ranges — so you can evaluate on substance before reaching out. Profiles below are representative examples. The app interface may vary.

I’ve hired four different providers through DueDilio — QofE, legal, tax structuring, and a buy-side advisor. Every one of them was experienced, responsive, and clearly knew the lower middle market. The vetting process works. I don’t source service providers any other way now.
Yes — you can browse anonymous provider profiles for free before paying anything. Each profile shows specialties, deal experience, credentials, and service focus. Firm names and identifying details stay confidential until you choose to engage, which keeps the marketplace fair and ensures providers compete on merit, not brand recognition.
The process includes a live interview, review of actual work deliverables, and direct conversations with past clients — not references the provider selects. Less than half of applicants are approved. The one-strike policy means any provider who underperforms on a real engagement is removed immediately, with no warnings. The network’s 4.9 Trustpilot rating across 1,100+ clients is the clearest signal that the standard holds in practice.
Contact the DueDilio team directly. Every concern is investigated promptly. Under the one-strike policy, any provider who receives a legitimate negative client review is removed from the network — no warnings, no probation. This isn’t just policy language; providers know it from day one, and it shapes how they approach every engagement.
Yes. The majority of providers are based in North America, with additional coverage across the UK, Western Europe, and Asia-Pacific. When you submit a project, the platform matches you with providers who have relevant geographic experience for your deal — wherever it’s located.
Browsing provider profiles is free — no account required. Submitting a project and receiving proposals requires a one-time $149 access fee, which covers every project you post going forward. No subscription, no per-project charges, no platform markup on provider fees. See full pricing details →
No — DueDilio has a strict non-poaching guarantee. We never contact your clients directly, solicit them for other services, or attempt to bypass your relationship. Your clients are your clients. DueDilio is here to help you find the right service providers for their deals, not to compete with you for the relationship. See how intermediaries use DueDilio →
